What is a warrior? It broadly translates as someone who is engaged in a struggle or conflict and uses their experience, fighting skills and wisdom.

In today’s episode, we expand upon the concept that everyday warriors live among us and within each of us in this light-hearted conversation.

As women, it’s astounding how the ownership of courage, empowerment and confidence are still difficult qualities to embody. No permission is required only the engagement of one’s self-awareness to the knowledge that you’re doing the best you can and have been rising through many challenges to get where you are today.

Today’s guest, Bonney (Boo) King is the founder of Girl Warrior Productions, a female-powered revolution, dedicated to working with women of all ages to visualize and create successful, inspired, powerful d authentic lives. Boo believes that every woman has a story to tell, and that in the telling of her story, she serves as an inspiration and way-finder to other women.

Bonney’s career includes advertising, copywriting, project management, educator, motivational speaker, musician and activist. She is the author of Summer in a Red Mustang with Cookies, Breadman’s Daughter, We Are The Girl Warriors and most recently, Posts From the High Wire: Essays on Living Without a Net.

So many women didn’t see themselves the way I saw them. Telling their stories of overcoming allowed them to see their power.
